Diana B. Rutledge, 63, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, December 15, 2013 in a local healthcare facility. She was a member of Westwood Baptist Church and worked with the AWANA group. She was retired from the Bradley County School System ten years ago after 30 years of service with the last 22 years of her career at Michigan Avenue School as a kindergarten teacher. After her retirement she volunteered at the YMCA for their home school program.
She was preceded in death by her father, Nolan Eugene Bradley, Jr.
She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Wiley M. Rutledge of Cleveland; mother, Eloise Bradley of Gallatin, TN; one son, Wiley A. Rutledge and wife, Beth H. of Cleveland; one grandchild, Elle Elizabeth-Eloise Rutledge; one sister, Sharon Bonds and husband, Kenny of Adolphus, Kentucky; two brothers: Nolan Eugene Bradley III and wife, Teresa, and David Lee Bradley and wife, Beth all of Gallatin, TN; several nieces and nephews also survive.
A celebration of Life service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 21, 2013 at the Westwood Baptist Church with Pastor Steve Smart and Pastor Jim Caywood officiating.
Her family will receive friends from 12-2 p.m. Saturday at the church prior to the service.
