Rosa Lee Horn, 87, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Monday, December 16, 2013 at the family residence. She was a member of Mount Carmel Baptist Church for over 40 years. She was retired from Cooke Manufacturing after many years as a seamstress. She liked to sew and loved traveling.
Mrs. Horn was preceded in death by her husband, William Doyle Horn; her parents, Columbus Freemont Chastain and Mary Nevada Ash Chastain; seven brothers, Oscar, Howard, Harmon, Morris, Eli, Clifford and Marshall Chastain and also several extended family members.
She is survived by her four children: Navada Rymer and husband, Robert; Gary Horn and wife, Angel; Rose Cook and husband, Ray; and Deborah Casteel and husband, Gary, all of Cleveland; five grandsons: John Paul Johnson, Kenneth Rymer, Jeremy Cook, Brandon Cook and Cody Casteel; four great-grandchildren; Dakota Johnson, Korrine Casteel, Zoey Casteel and Siobahn Casteel; two brothers, Ben Chastain of Cleveland and J. C. Chastain of Olatha, KS; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, December 19, 2013 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Huff and Reverend Larry Chastain officiating. Interment will be held at 12 noon Friday, December 20, 2013 in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with grandsons serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 3-6 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home prior to the service.
