Hunter Ross Manning
July 31, 1987 — January 9, 2014
Hunter Ross Manning, 26, a resident of Calhoun, passed away at his residence on January 9, 2014 surrounded by his family. He attended Lamontville Baptist Church. Hunter attended Calhoun Elementary School and graduated from McMinn County High School in 2007.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James O. Farmer and Georgia Manning.
He is survived by his father, Joe Manning of Decatur; mother and step father, Dorothy F. and Lewis Teague of Calhoun; brother, Cody Manning of Cleveland; grandfather, Earl L. Manning of Dalton, GA; grandmother, Gladys Farmer of Calhoun.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 13, 2014 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Michael Williams officiating. Interment will follow in Short Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in McMinn with Chris Baxter, Justin Baxter, Craig Simpson, Matt Simpson, Larry Baker and Lance Manning serving as pallbearers. Steven Westfall will serve as an honorary pallbearer. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Sunday, January 12, 2014 at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home.
