Sabra Elaine Ellis

Sabra Elaine Ellis, 35, a resident of Hixson, passed away Friday, January 10, 2014 in a Chattanooga hospital. She attended Clear Creek Church of Christ. She received a BS degree from UTC in 2013 majoring in communications and served in the MOSAIC program in 2012 and 2013 at UTC. She served as a volunteer at the Ronald McDonald House.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Glenda Pevehouse Ellis.
Survivors include her father, Richard Ellis of San Marcos, CA; one brother, Cory Ellis of Mesa, AZ; one sister, Brooke Musick of Oceanside, CA; four aunts: Karen Ellis Yaniga of Pawleys Island, SC, Joann Ellis Hamm of Williamson, NY, Jude Ellis of Bloomfield, NY, and Bonnie Pevehouse of Rossville, GA; fiancée, David Hale of Hixson.
A memorial service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 13, 2014 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home in Cleveland with Pastor Mark C. Davis officiating. The family will receive friends at the conclusion of the service.
The family suggests memorials be made in Sabra’s name to The Ronald McDonald House of Chattanooga, 200 Central Avenue, Chattanooga, TN 37403.
