Helen J Graham Mayle

November 14, 1922 — January 11, 2014

Helen J. Graham Mayle, 91, of Charleston, passed away Saturday, January 11, 2014 in a local nursing facility.  She was retired from American Uniform and Peytons Southeastern.  She was a very involved and lifelong member of Candies Creek Baptist Church.  She enjoyed doll collecting and was an excellent seamstress.

She was preceded in death by her husbands:  Jay Hugh Graham, Jr., and Darl Mayle; and also her parents, Harrison and Daisy Mae Lamb Geren.

She is survived by two sons:  Lanny Graham and wife Dea Etta of Charleston, and Terry Graham and wife Judy of Cleveland; two step children: Brenda Gilson and husband Dan, and Darl Mayle, all of Cleveland; three grandchildren: Derrick Graham, Drew Graham, and Stephanie Zuidema and husband Mike; and several great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Monday, January 13, 2014 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Jamison Work officiating.  Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with Murel Graham, Jerry Graham, Charlie Wattenbarger, Troy Gilson, Terry Lewis, and Lamar Harden serving as pallbearers.  The service will conclude with a white dove release ceremony.

Her family will receive friends from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. Monday prior to the service at the funeral home.

Her family requests that memorials may be made to the Candies Creek Baptist Church Building Fund, 294 Old Eureka Road NW, Charleston, TN 37310.
