Eric Joseph Cincotta, 47, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Monday, January 20, 2014 in a Birmingham hospital. He was a parishioner at St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church and recently was attending Clingan Ridge Baptist Church. He was a self-employed carpenter. He was a veteran of the United States Army.
Survivors include his wife, Louise Cincotta of Cleveland; parents, Carter and Rachel Cincotta of Ossipee, NH; one sister, Wendy Whiting and husband, Steve of Panama City, FL; two brothers, Crispin Cincotta and wife, Ellen of Chicago, IL and Carter Cincotta, Jr. of Ossipee, NH; sister-in-law, Susan Sullivan and husband, Barry of Cleveland; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles also survive.
A Funeral Liturgy Outside of Mass will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 24, 2014 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Father Albert Sescon and Pastor Lamar Moore officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with military honors. Nick Whiting, Tyler Whiting, David Cincotta, William Cincotta, Cody Sullivan, Michael Sullivan and Taylor Sullivan will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Doug Warner, Charles Bagley, Bill NeSmith, Frank Evans, Mark Anthony, Robert Howell, Tim Taylor, Robert NeSmith and Dwight True.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, January 23, 2014 at the funeral home.
