Anna L. Carruth, 64, a lifelong resident of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2014 in a local hospital. She was of the Baptist faith. She was retired from Duracell after 26 years of service.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Willis and Mary Ruth Chambers Willis.
Survivors include her three children: David Carden; Christy Poteet and husband, Stacy; and Stacy White and wife, Brandi all of Cleveland; seven grandchildren; one great grandchild; four brothers: Jacky Willis, Jimmy Willis, Doug Willis, and Ray Willis all of Cleveland; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 26, 2014 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend David Disney officiating. Interment will follow in Boanerges Baptist Church Cemetery in Old Fort. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.
The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. Saturday and from 1-2 p.m. Sunday prior to the service at the funeral home.
