Rita Marie Sutter, 52, a resident of Cleveland since 2005, passed away Thursday, February 6, 2014 in a local hospital. She was a free lance writer and had a strong free willed spirit. She was born in Philadelphia, PA.

She is survived by her parents, Francis and Helen Malloy Sutter of Leisuretown, NJ; husband, Dr. James Ross Slemmer of Cleveland; brother, Gerald Sutter of Maple Shade, NJ; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
