Jack E Davis

Jack E. Davis, 61, of Cleveland passed away Saturday, February 8, 2014 at his residence. He had been a resident of Cleveland since 1996. He was of the Baptist faith. He was a Vietnam veteran and retired after 27 years of active duty with the U.S. Army. He was employed by the U.S. Postal Service for 12 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wiley Edward and Leatras W. White Davis; and sister, Patricia Flood.

He is survived by four children, Michael Davis and wife Jennifer, Stephen Davis, Christopher Davis and fiancée Angela Shamblin, and Adrianna Davis, all of Cleveland; eight grandchildren, Kimberly Dixon, Colton Davis, Austin Davis, Brooklyn Davis, Maddison Davis, Kaleb Davis, Kaleigh Cross, and Kelsie Davis; one great grandchild, Arie Shea Taylor; one sister, Victoria Davis of Tampa, FL; one brother, Wiley Edward Davis of Tampa, FL; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor David Disney officiating with military honors.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at the funeral home.
