Edith N. Vaught, 82, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, November 27, 2013 in a Knoxville hospital. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a member of Faith Memorial Church where she was a prayer warrior. Edith was a charter member of Bridgemakers.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald R. Vaught; parents, James and Nancy York Farley; brothers: James Farley and Milton Farley; sisters: Ruth Wright, Ruby Hall and Kathy Farley.
She is survived by her children: Joe Bryant of Benton Station; Donald W. Vaught and wife, Robin of Cleveland; and Connie Bailey and husband, Kevin of Knoxville; grandchildren: Shane Bryant, Dona Leonard, Dustin Vaught and Chase Ballinger; five great grandchildren: Susan, Kayla, Brittany, Blake and Sara; sister, Mary Griffith of Naples, FL; brother, Darrell Farley of Largo, FL; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 5:00 p.m. Sunday, December 1, 2013 at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor David Riggs officiating. Interment will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 2, 2013 at Hilcrest Memorial Gardens. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.
Her family will receive friends from 2:30 – 4:30 p.m. Sunday, December 1, 2013 at the funeral home.
