Linda Lou Bell Fannin, 73, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Monday, November 11, 2013 in a local hospital. She was a member of Big Spring United Methodist Church where she served as treasurer for the past fourteen years and was a former Sunday school teacher. She was very active in Bridgemakers. She was retired from Johnston Coca Cola after 25 years of service. Mrs. Fannin was preceded in death by her husband, James Vernon "Clem" Fannin; parents, Thomas and Mildred Bell and a sister, Margaret Dooly. She is survived by her son, Thomas L. Fannin of Cleveland; one granddaughter, Emma Fannin of Cleveland; several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 15, 2013 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Ray Petty officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with Heath Sullivan, Jim Bentley, Bo Ellis, Larry Suits, Bryan Bentley and Doug Flack serving as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
