Glenna Walker Bowman (Mrs. Bill Bowman), age 95, a resident of Murfreesboro and formerly of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at a Murfreesboro healthcare facility. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Cleveland. Ms. Bowman owned and operated Bowman?s Antiques for over forty-five years, taught at Cleveland State Community College, and was the past president of the Garden Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Hahn Bowman, Jr.; son, William Hahn Bowman, III; parents, Alec Curd Walker and Theodosia Petrey Walker. Survivors include her two daughters, Elaine Clark of Calhoun and Carolyn Jones of Murfreesboro; three grandchildren, Brian Clark of Calhoun, Liane Smith and husband Dwayne of Murfreesboro, James Michael (Bo) Jones and wife Jeanie of Murfreesboro; eight great grandchildren, Colton Clark and Sasha Clark both of Calhoun, Sara Smith, Mary Catherine Smith, Jack Smith, Emma Grace Smith, James Michael Jones, III, and Murray Jones all of Murfreesboro; one great great-granddaughter, Kaylie Ray Clark of Calhoun. Graveside services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, November 15, 2013 at Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with Reverend Rex Davis and wife Barbara officiating. Family members will serve as pallbearers.
