Teresa Ann Pontes

Teresa Ann Pontes, 49, a resident of Apison, TN, passed away Friday, November 15, 2013 at her residence. She was of the Christian faith. She was employed with Direct Auto Insurance as a territory sales manager since 1997. She was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Worley. She is survived by her mother, Sandra Faye Worley of McDonald; two sons, Joshua Pontes and Jason Pontes both of Apison; one grandchild, Brianna Pontes of Apison; two sisters, Kila Worley of Water Valley, Mississippi and Sandy Lewis of Soddy Daisy, TN; one niece, Tagen Lewis and one nephew, LeBron Lewis. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 20, 2013 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner with Pastor Fletcher Farris officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at the funeral home.
