Alberta McGehee

Alberta M. McGehee, 97, of Cleveland, passed away Sunday morning, August 18, 2013, at the family residence. She was a long standing member of Waterville Baptist Church where she was the oldest living member. She was preceded in death by her parents: Mike and Oma Boring, her husband, Robert Lofton McGehee, and her daughter, Marie Lea. She will be greatly missed by her surviving family members, children: James McGehee (Frances), Faye Botts and Larry McGehee, all of Cleveland; six grandchildren: Terry Botts, Tony McGehee, Karen Botts, Tina Sonnier, Crystal Tinsley and Mark McGehee; two sisters, Opal Gibson and Inez Robertson, both of Ooltewah; nine great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 20, 2013, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Alan Lovelace officiating. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday in Sunset Memorial Gardens concluding with a white dove release ceremony. Her family will receive friends 5 ? 7 p.m. Tuesday prior to the funeral at the funeral home.
