Martha Jones Clark

Martha Jones Clark, 74, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Monday, September 30, 2013 in a Chattanooga healthcare facility. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. Martha spent her teaching career as a third grade teacher at Blue Springs Elementary School and later was employed at the Tennessee Department of Human Services. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul R. and Clarise Jones; sister, Joyce Stonecipher; and nephew, Wayne Stonecipher. She is survived by one son, David P. Clark of Cleveland; two grandchildren: David Alexander Clark and Brooklyn Susanne Clark all of Etowah; sister, Patricia J. Harper of Jacksonville, FL; and niece, Rita Stonecipher of Flat Rock, AL. A private graveside service will be conducted Friday, October 4, 2013 at Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with Pastor Rusty Langford officiating.
