Sheri Lynn Young West, 34, of Cleveland, was welcomed into the arms of her Savior and received by her heavenly father on Thursday, October 10, 2013. She walks with her Savior now, and will be waiting for her family and friends to meet her in heaven. Sheri was a beacon light that shined bright daily. She was the most loving mother and wife and will be greatly missed. Sheri was preceded in death by her daughter, Savannah West; grandparents, Evelyn and Henry Dee Zuraff and Annabelle and Clarence Young; brother, Larry D. Young; nephew, Joe "Bubba" Wright and brother-in-law, Larry Higdon. She is survived by her husband, Joshua E. West of Cleveland; sons, Hunter McKinley West and Hayden James West and daughter, Joshlynn Ann West all of Cleveland; parents, Dorothy "Dottie" and James O. Young of Cleveland; brother, Ricky Young and wife, Patti of Benton; sisters, Marla Young Higdon and Jeri Ann Moody and husband, Jamie; brother-in-law, Jake West; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Joe and Teresa West of Cleveland; nieces, Candice R. Wright Holcomb, Angela D. Higdon Epperson, Kendra P. Garren, Kaitlyn B. Rogers, Courtney E. Rogers and Hannah M. Rogers; nephew, Thomas Perry, III; great nieces, Gracie C. Epperson and Mattie K. Holcomb; great nephew, Jayden Z. Holcomb; special nieces and a nephew, along with special aunts and uncles also survive; lifelong friends, Tia Ray and Frank Viola. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 14, 2013 at the East Cleveland Baptist Church with Pastor Joe Lockman officiating. Interment will follow in Union Baptist Church Cemetery with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service. Pallbearers will be Tyler Goins, Frank Viola, Allen Young, Derrick Stevens, Casey Kerr and Tommy Sledge. Honorary pallbearers will be Jake West and Jamie Moody.
