Midge Clark

January 19, 1934 — July 18, 2013

She loved, she cared, she baked cakes and cookies, she visited the sick and the shut-ins; she was a wife and mother without compare, still mothering her boys even after they became men. Her every thought was about someone other than herself and she gave, expecting nothing in return, never giving herself credit for any of it. A wise man once said to me, "True servants do that!" Marjorie Ellen Williams Clark (Midge) (Flash), 79, departed on her final earthly adventure on July 18, 2013 and went on to her eternal heavenly adventure where she will receive her crown of glory (1 Peter 5: 2-4). She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Thelma Williams and her older brother, Marco Alexander Williams. She is survived by her husband, Jack Clark; her sons, Stephen Michael Clark (Michelle), John Mark Clark (Kathy), Matthew David Clark (Candy), Andrew Daniel Clark and granddaughters, Elizabeth Clark, Jennifer Clark and Eryn Clark; grandsons, Jacob Clark, Ben Clark, Matthew Gillenwater and Evan Gillenwater. Also surviving are two sisters, Patricia Lawson of Hurricane, West Virginia and Sue Fiegener (John) of Cleveland, Tennessee; three brothers, Dale Williams of Clearwater, Florida, Ben Williams (Linda) of Oak Hill, West Virginia and Fred Williams (Lisa) of Glen Jean, West Virginia. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Monday, July 22, 2013 at Westwood Baptist Church with Steve Morgan officiating. A private family graveside service will be held. The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday at Westwood Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in her name to World Vision, P.O. Box 70399, Tacoma, Washington, 98481-0399. Indicate source code 105429606 and add her name. We invite you to send a message of condolence and view the Clark family guestbook at www.ralphbuckner.com. Ralph Buckner Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.
