Betty J Greene

Betty J. Greene, 69, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Friday, August 02, 2013 in a local hospital. She was of the Baptist faith. Mrs.Greene was the daughter of the late Charles Clinton Cathey and Mary Ellen Pullin Cathey and was also preceded in death by her son, Michael Tate; three brothers, Charlie Cathey, David Cathey and Buddy Cathey. She is survived by her husband, Paul Greene of Cleveland; four children: Paul Greene, Jr. and wife, Lisa of Cleveland, Rebecca Lockwood and husband, Paul of McDonald, Eddie Tate and Randall Tate all of Cleveland; grandchildren, Jason Rapier, Travis Greene, Kimberly Groomes, Autumn (Lockwood) Burke and husband, Kevin, Tiffany Tate, Andy Tate, Corina Tate, April Tate, and Ashley (Tate) Dunn; several great-grandchildren; two sisters, Linda Burns, Marie Vaughn and one brother, Kenneth Cathey and wife, Jennifer all of Cleveland; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 4, 2013 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Johnnie Humberd officiating. Interment will follow in Red Hill Cemetery with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service. Her family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday, August 3, 2013 at the funeral home and also from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Sunday prior to the service.
