Vee L Moore

Vee L. Moore, 88, a resident of Old Fort, passed away Saturday, August 03, 2013 at the family residence. She was a member of Ocoee Baptist Church in Ocoee. She was an avid gardener and loved outdoor activities and loved to shop. Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by her husband, Reverend J.T. Moore; parents, Sam Kendrick and Della Stafford Kendrick; son, Jerry Thomas Moore; daughter, Phyllis Moore; son-in-law, Doug Hooker; she was also preceded in death by three brothers and five sisters. She is survived by her three children: Janice Hooker, Aurelia Dill both of Old Fort and Beverly Jane Deal and husband, C.W. of Cleveland; six grandchildren, Jonathan Deal, Teresa Deal Trentham, Danny Deal, Julie Hooker Moses, Nathan Hooker and Brittany Dill Navas; fourteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Monday, August 5, 2013 at the Fairy Valley Baptist Church with Reverend Kinzel Hooker and Reverend Charles Moore officiating. Interment will follow in Fairy Valley Baptist Church Cemetery with Nathan Hooker, DeWayne Kendrick, Tony Kendrick, Danny Deal, Kenneth Kendrick, Jacob Hooker and Bill Gordon serving as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, August 4, 2013 at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home.
