Julian Delane Hawkins

Julian Delane Hawkins, 74, resident of Bradley County passed away at his home on Thursday, August 8, 2013. He was of the Baptist faith. He worked at Burlington Woolens and retired from Westvaco Folding Box. He was a constable for the 1st District for 16 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Pearl Cochran Hawkins; brothers, Gerstil, Wencil, C.L., Kenneth, Marvin, Vernon, and J.B. Hawkins and sisters, Jessie Marie and Annas Lucille. He is survived by his children: Ray Hawkins and wife, Janice; Rickey Hawkins and wife, Sally; grandchildren: Lindsey, Jenny, Chris and Dave; brother, Waymon Hawkins; sisters: Velma June, Gladys, Margie, Wilma Sue and Ruth Ann. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Saturday, August 10, 2013 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverends Paul Fox and David Evans officiating. Interment will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday in Boanerges Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. Saturday, August 10, 2013 at the funeral home prior to the service.
