Jimmy Glen Jennette

Jimmy Glen Jennette, Sr., 73, was born in Scranton, NC, on September 28, 1939. He passed away on Monday, August 12, 2013 at his home after a lengthy illness with family members at his side. He was of the Christian faith. He worked his entire career in the professional insulating union, Local Union No. 83, in Norfolk, VA, from which he retired. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Levine Jennette of North Carolina; two brothers, Cecil Jennette and Edward Donald Jennette; and one sister, Zelda. He was also preceded in death by two sons, Jimmy Glen Jennette, Jr., and Daniel "Danny" Ray Jennette. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, one sister, Barbara Jean Jennette of Virginia; one son, Robert "Bobby" Donald Jennette and special friend, Cyndie Lynn; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, family members, and friends, all of the greater Cleveland area. A Remembrance of Life Memorial Service will be conducted at the Restoration Fellowship Family Worship Center at a future date to be announced by the family.
