Mary L Rose

Mary L. Rose, 82, a lifelong resident of Cleveland until recently and currently residing in Sweetwater passed away Thursday, March 14, 2013 in a Sweetwater hospital. She was of the Methodist faith. She had suffered with the Alzheimer disease for many years. Mrs. Rose was preceded in death by her husband, Charles James Rose and her parents, Lynn Ledford and Lula German Ledford. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Carol and David Beckler of Spring City; son, Charles Ray Rose of Huntsville, AL; four grandchildren: Amee and Bill Oldham, Jonah and Jen Beckler all of Knoxville, TN, Mary Anna Rose and Emma Elizabeth Rose both of Huntsville, AL; two great-grandchildren: Natalee Rose Oldham and Marrett Lacee Beckler. She is also survived by a host of friends. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 18, 2013 at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Reverend Tom Wickes officiating. Jonah Beckler, Bill Oldham, Ray Beckler, Randy Fox, Bubba Crye and Charlie McKenize will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to the Pat Summitt Foundation, 625 Market Street, Suite 1400, Knoxville, Tennessee, 37902 to fund research for a cure for Alzheimer.
