Carol Brock Burrell

Carol Brock Burrell, 76, of Cleveland, passed away on Monday, January 28, 2013, surrounded by her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a member of First Baptist Church for 68 years where she served faithfully. She was the daughter of the late Tommy Brock and Margie Hughes Brock. She was also preceded in death by her husband Gerald O. Burrell; and brother, John Robert "Bobby" Brock. Survivors include her children and spouses: Jerry and Suzanne Burrell, Derrick and Beth Burrell, and Angela Burrell Goodner and David Goodner; eight grandchildren, Blake Goodner, Nicole Goodner, Laura Beth Hargraves (Daniel), Ashton AbdulRahman (Naef), Jesse Burrell, Cody Burrell, Ben Burrell, and Anna Burrell; eight great-grandchildren, Jayce Hargraves, Bryce Goodner, Braden Hargraves, Marshall Goodner, Langston Hargraves, Neely AbdulRahman, Blakely Goodner, and Britton Hargraves; brothers and sister, Charles Brock (Shirley), Joe Brock (Judie), and Jane Richardson (Wayne); and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church Generation Fund, 1275 Industrial Park Rd., Cleveland, TN 37311. The funeral will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, January 31st, 2013 at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with the Rev. Jim Gibson and Dr. Allan Lockerman officiating. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Her grandsons and nephews, Dan Brock, Brian Brock, Jason Richardson, Blake Goodner, Cody Burrell, and Ben Burrell will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday evening at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home. The family will also receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday prior to the service.
