Mary E Cantrell

Mary E. Cantrell, 77, a resident of McDonald, passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at the family residence. She was a devoted mother and homemaker. She was a member of The True Church of God in Georgetown. Mrs. Cantrell was the daughter of the late Enoch Harden and Alley Lowe Harden and was also preceded in death by her son, Jerry Cantrell; one granddaughter, Donia Danette Cantrell; three brothers, Bill Harden, Tom Harden and Henry Harden; five sisters, Bea Michaels, Viola Davis, Ida Kennedy, Buellia Fortner and Roberta Gann. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Glenn Cantrell of McDonald; five children and spouses: Judy and Jack Morrison, Dina and David Swafford, Donnie and Debbie Cantrell, Ora Teague and Bobby Dowdy and Glenda Cantrell and Phillip Fritts all of McDonald; grandchildren: Sherry Cantrell, Ore Crisp, Kim Gatlin, Christy McKinney, Misty Gee, Penny Goodwin, Julie Goodwin, Michael Loyess, Brandon Loyess, Mason Teague, Logan Teague, David Sneed and many great-grandchildren; one brother, Archie Harden of Georgetown; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 2, 2013 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend James Hughes and Chaplain Mike Justice officiating. Interment will follow in Earls Cemetery with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service. Pallbearers will be Randy Fox, Donnie Cantrell, Bobby Dowdy, Logan Teague, Phillip Fritts and David Swafford. Her family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, February 1, 2013 at the funeral home. The family will also receive friends on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
