Jack W Grubb Jr.

April 24, 1940 — February 3, 2013

Jack W. Grubb, Jr. 72, of Cleveland passed away Sunday, February 3 2013 at his residence. Jack loved golfing watching football, boating and most of all hanging out with his grandchildren. He was a man who loved life to the fullest and will be sadly missed. He was of the Methodist faith and attended Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church. Everyone who knew him called him Pap-Paw. He was a veteran of the United States Airforce. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack Grubb, Sr. and Margaret Brown Grubb; wife Judy Grubb and a sister, Charlotte Grubb. He is survived by daughter, Kelly and husband Gary Shamblin of Cleveland, son, Gregg Grubb of Kingston, TN.; grandson, Warren Langley; granddaughters, Angela Shamblin and Hannah Grubb, great-grand daughters, Bailey Langley Rogers and Kelsie Davis; sisters, Patsy Kitchen of Cleveland and Jacqueline Watson of Toccoa, GA; special great nieces Maggie and Ally Maples; special friends, Debbie Roberts, Vickie Hardwick, and Heather Ellis. Several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews also survive. Adrian and Peyton are his special little ones. The funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Robert Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Beta Cemetery with military honors. Paul Barries, Chris Davis, Larry Tatum, Warren Langley and Gary Shamblin will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
