Mary Alma Tinsley Tidwell, 87, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at the family residence. She was a member of Clingan Ridge Baptist Church. She was a member of the F.E.C.A. formerly known as the Taylors Home Demonstration Club. She retired from the Tennessee Department of Education after 20 years of service. Mrs. Tidwell was preceded in death by her husbands, Dennis Tinsley and Hall Franklin "Fred" Tidwell and her parents, Robert S. Beene and Maggie R. Branam Beene; sister, Willie Mae Beene. She is survived by her children: Sam Tinsley and wife Joyce and Jane Tinsley Verner and husband, Roy all of Cleveland; five grandchildren: Angie Ogle, Michelle Stephens, Amy Farmer, Kevin Tinsley and Kimberly Hooker; several great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, February 15, 2013 at Moore?s Chapel Cemetery with Reverend Mike Ogle, Sr. officiating. Kevin Tinsley, Mike Ogle, Kaleb Tinsley, Conner Tinsley, Scottie Hooker and Justin Tilley will serve as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, February 14, 2013 at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home.
