Hazel Chancey McClure, 91, a resident of Cleveland passed away Friday, February 15. 2013 in a local healthcare facility surrounded by her family. She was a member of Peerless Road Church of God of Prophecy. She would have celebrated her 92nd birthday today, February 17, 2013. She spent her entire life taking care of her family and being "MaMaw". She was preceded in death by her husband Marvin McClure and parents, Henry Franklin Chancey and Margaret "Maggie" Hawkins Chancey, three sisters, Beulah Cooper, Elaine Chancey, and Reba Chancey; seven brothers, Lee Chancey, Clyde Chancey, Hoyt Chancey, Lake Chancey, Virl Chancey, Reed Chancey and Wyndom Chancey. She is survived by daughter, Martha Holt & husband Willis of Charleston; grandchildren, Ginger and William Miolen of Marietta GA, Jeannie and Jimmy Ledford, and Roger Holt all of Cleveland; five great grandchildren, Taylor, Kaylee, Maggie, Ethan and Jonas. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 17, 2013 at 3:00 pm. in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastors, Kay Horner and Brian Sutton officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens with Doug Chancey, Mike Chancey, Franklin Chancey, Chris Koerner, Mike Koerner, and Jacob Koerner serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be J.C. Cagle, Ray Wynn, Buddy Linville, Don Sizemore, Robert Mitchell, Ron Chancey, and Raymond Chancey. A white dove release will conclude the ceremony. The family will receive friends Sunday, February 17, 2013 from 1-3:00 p.m. prior to the service.
