Pauline C Weathers

Pauline C. Weathers, 82, a lifelong resident of Charleston, passed away Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at the family residence. She was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Weathers was the daughter of the late Clarence Campbell and Beulah Pruitt Campbell and was also preceded in death by her husband, Homer Weathers; sisters, Lois Johns, Sally Phillips and Rosie Mayberry; brothers, Grover Campbell and Ralph Campbell. She is survived by her two children: Bruce Weathers of Charleston and Susan Ledford of Calhoun; two grandchildren: Marty Weathers and Paula Weathers; four great-grandchildren: Donta Weathers, Andre Weathers, Aaliyah Zacarias and Emma Watson; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 24, 2012 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Russell Irvin officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service. Her family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, August 23, 2012 at the funeral home.
