Jack G. Walker, 76, beloved father and grandfather and well known local businessman passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2012 in a local healthcare facility. He was a former co-owner of Cleveland Tire. He was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Walker was the son of the late William Hugh Walker and Frances Minchew Walker and was also preceded in death by his brother, Bill C. Walker and step-son, Travis Tinsley. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Debbie Walker of Cleveland; children: Steve Walker, Jaime Walker and wife Nanette, Brigitte Miller, Kensley Walker and Kayden Walker and step daughter, Stephanie Tinsley all of Cleveland; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three nephews: Bob Walker, Bill Walker and Dave Walker; beloved pet, Rambo. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 3, 2012 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with grandson, Brandon Walker officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with employees and friends of Cleveland Tire serving as pallbearers. His family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday, June 2, 2012 at the funeral home.
