Anita Chamberlain, 72, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Thursday, May 31, 2012 at the home of her caregiver and friend, Laura Johnson. She was a member of Spring Place Church of God of Prophecy. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ples Burris and Elma Evans Burris and siblings, Carlos Burris, Kenneth Burris, Verlin Burris and Clifford Burris. Survivors include her two children, Lisa Zius and husband, Mark and Vickie McMurray, both of Cleveland; five grandchildren, Mark Roe, Jody Roe, Buffy Richardson, Luke Zius and Laney Zius, all of Cleveland; eleven great-grandchildren, Gage, Jax, Violet, Scarlet, Pearl, Hunter and Haley Roe, Marley and Kaley Waldroup and Klover and Boston Richardson; siblings, Max, Ralph, Ronnie and Glen Burris of Ohio and Lester Burris, Sue Burris and Loreda Hughes of Cleveland. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be 4:00 p.m., Monday, June 4, 2012 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with the Reverend Barry Lee officiating. Interment will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service. The family will receive friends from 5:00- 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 3, 2012 at the funeral home.
