Kaye Steelman

Veronica Kaye Steelman, 61, of Benton, a beloved mother and grandmother, passed away Thursday, June 14, 2012 at her home. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Benton. She was the daughter of the late George and Lorene Green and was also preceded in death by her brother, Joe Green. She is survived by her daughter, Stephanie Bates and son-in-law, Brad Bates; her grandchildren: Braxton and Maggie Bates; her brothers: Bill and S.N. Green; her sisters: Marylin Chestnutt, Sue Ledford, Yvonne Nichols, Patsy Blankenship, Emily Cummings and Nell Edwards. The family extends appreciation to the caretakers, Judy Crumbley and Teresa Goforth. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, June 15, 2012 at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Boanerges Baptist Church Cemetery with David Adams, Len Bell, Mark Cummings, Kim Ledford, Willie Ledford and Denny Stafford serving as pallbearers.
