Patsy Elaine Lee

Patsy Elaine Lee, 69, a resident of Calhoun, died Wednesday, June 20, at Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga, TN. She was a member of Calhoun First Baptist Church. She loved and joyously participated in the church choir. Patsy loved her community and she worked with many volunteer and civic organizations. She was preceded in death by her father Edward Carmack and mother, Sena Jane Wiley; in-laws, Paul and Evelyn Summers, Frank and Mayme Keck, Charles Stanfill, Fred Messamore, Arthur Rucker and Bill Taylor; mother-in-law, Mattie Lee and father-in-law, Bill Lee. She is survived by her spouse of 52 years, J.W. Lee; daughters and sons-in-law, Jamie and Derek Cline and Jennifer and DeVance Crumley; son, James, Jr. and his wife, Shay and special daughter-in-law, Jan Lee; grandsons: Travis Lee and wife Laura and Hunter Cline and Zachary Dylan Ownby; granddaughters: Faith Burke and husband, Charles and her little angels, McKenzie Grace Crumley and Aubrey Lee; siblings: Josephene Wall and husband, S.J., Marie Wiley, Lucille Cavin and husband, Jim, Bobby Wiley and wife, Betty; sisters-in-law, Della Rucker, Essie Stanfill, Elsie Taylor and Lennie Messamore; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends also survive. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 23, 2012 at the Calhoun First Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Calhoun Cemetery with Pastor Kevin Cheatham officiating. Jeff Long, Mike Long, Coy Harbison, Eric Eledge, Travis Lee and Hunter Cline will serve as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. Her family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, June 22, 2012 at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home. The family will also receive friends from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the church prior to the service. The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Calhoun First Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 175, Calhoun, TN 37309.
