Jeff D. Kirkpatrick, 56, a lifetime resident of Cleveland, passed away Friday, June 22, 2012 at Lake Louise in Alaska. He was a member of Lebanon Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. He loved Jesus Christ with all his heart and always said he was ready to go when he was called home. He was a graduate of Bradley High School and Cleveland State Community College. Jeff was employed by the Bradley County Sheriff?s Department where he worked in corrections for 8 years. He loved fishing, Alaska and working in his garden. He enjoyed camping and being with his girls. He was preceded in death by his father, John V. Kirkpatrick and his brother, Tommy Kirkpatrick. He passed away at the same time with his brother, Steve Kirkpatrick. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Cindy Lance Kirkpatrick; mother, Pauline Dixon Kirkpatrick; daughters, April Kirkpatrick and Sarah Kirkpatrick; sisters, Kim Calfee and husband, Rex and Kathy Lovelace and husband, Wallace; sisters-in-law, Terrie Kirkpatrick and Lettie Kirkpatrick Burress and husband, Phil; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Doug and Nancy Lance; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Friday, June 29, 2012 at the old First Baptist Church with Pastor Judson Kirkpatrick and Dr. Allan Lockerman officiating. Interment will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 30, 2012 in Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery with Dale Miller, David Patton, Ron Weaver, Ronnie Whaley, Edwin Curtis, Zane Kirkpatrick, Ryan Lovelace, Corey Lovelace, Adam Kirkpatrick, Logan Kirkpatrick, Eddie Campbell and Rusty Burke serving as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. His family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Friday at old First Baptist Church prior to the service. The family requests that memorials be made to Lebanon Baptist Church Youth Fund, 1411 Old Parksville Road, NE Cleveland, TN 37323.
