Barbara Anne Yost

Barbara Anne Preble Yost, 79, a resident of Cleveland, TN, passed away Wednesday, February 29, 2012 in a local hospital. She was a member of Broad Street United Methodist Church. Mrs. Yost had been employed with Cleveland Bank and Trust, J.C. Penney and Cleveland State Community College. Mrs. Yost was the daughter of the late Hugh B. Preble and Valetta Loflin Preble and was also preceded in death by her husband, Gene Allen Yost who passed away in December 2009; and brother, Hugh B. Preble, Jr. who passed away earlier in February 2012. She is survived by her four children: Beth Borst and husband, Mike Borst, Steven Yost, David Yost and wife Dana and Michael Yost all of Cleveland, TN; five grandchildren: Will Borst, Lauren Borst, Meredith Borst, Haydin Yost and Harrison Yost; one brother, Bill Preble and wife, Libby of Charlotte, NC; and one sister, Betsy Liberman of Charlotte, NC. A memorial service will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, March 4, 2012 at the Broad Street United Methodist Church with Reverend Reed Shell and Reverend Debbie Stokes officiating. Interment will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday, March 5, 2012 at Chattanooga National Cemetery. Her family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday at the church prior to the service.
