Lois Ann Mantooth

May 31, 1938 — February 29, 2012

Lois Ann Mantooth 73, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, February 29, 2012 in a Chattanooga hospital. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and businesswoman. She was a member of Cedar Springs Baptist Church. Preceding her in death were her parents William J. Schultz and Esther V. Larson Schultz. She is survived by her husband of 53 ½ years, Wheeler "Ed" Mantooth of Cleveland; children: Victoria Mantooth Camp and husband, Spencer of Athens; William "Bill" Mantooth and wife, Teresa of Cleveland; 7 grandchildren: Kimber Wright, Michael Wampler II, Ryan Wampler, Jamie Wampler, Jessica Stiles, Casey Hale and Taylor Mantooth; 3 great grandchildren: Tyson Wampler, Baylee Wampler and Jacob Stiles. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Leroy Elliott and Pastor Tony Spencer officiating. Interment will follow in Cedar Springs Cemetery with Jeffrey Wright, Ryan Wampler, Jamie Wampler, Casey Hale, Spencer Camp and Taylor Mantooth will serve as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
