Eunice Clabough Bell, 87, went home to see Jesus on Wednesday, February 29, 2012. She worked for many years and retired from J.H. Kellman. She was a member of Union Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening and writing poetry. She was a loving wife and very devoted mother to her nine children which brought her the most joy in life. She had an infectious smile which will sorely be missed by all who knew and loved her dearly as "Granny". She was the daughter of the late Robert Luther Clabough and Louisa "Elzie" Reagan Clabough. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Eugene Bell, a son, Michael Bell, two daughters, Gloria Bell Stafford and Darlene Bell, a grandson, Christopher Bell, three brothers, Cowan, Kyle and Charles Clabough, and two sisters, Ines Troutt and Eula Mae Lawson. She is survived by six children: Donny Bell and his wife Valerie, David Bell and his wife Molly, all of Anchorage, Alaska; Arnold Bell, Alan Bell and his wife Renee?, Geneva Gewin and her husband Robert and Gary Bell all of Cleveland; twelve grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; son-in-law, Jack Stafford; daughter-in-law Shelia Bell; two sisters, Alethia Hawkins and Avis Clabough; one brother, Clyne Clabough all of Cleveland; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 3, 2012 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Larry Humbard officiating. Interment will follow in Union Baptist Church Cemetery with Adam Bell, Daniel Gewin, Paul Allen, Mike Cooper, Tim Pearson and Richard Hawkins serving as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. Her family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
