L.C. "Tony" Davis, 79, a well-known and beloved resident of Cleveland, passed away Thursday, March 1, 2012 at his residence surrounded by his loved ones. He was a retiree of Bowater Paper Mill and was a veteran of the United States Army 82nd Airborne Division. He was a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church and a 3rd degree mason of Cleveland Lodge #134. He was preceded in death by his son, Terry Davis, parents, Jewell Cook Davis and Luther Carl Davis, sister, Molly Jo Cotton and brothers-in-law, George and Gene Park. He is survived by his wife, Ellen Park Davis of Cleveland; sons, Greg Davis of Winchester, TN, David (Andrea) Jones of Cleveland and Kevin Jones of New Orleans, LA; daughters, Deanna Davis of Tullahoma and Cindy Greene, Dawn (Gary) Carroll and Virginia Case, all of Cleveland; 17 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; brother-in-law, Herman (Jo) Park of Vero Beach, FL; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins and beloved friends. Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m. Sunday, March 4, 2012 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Jonathan Powell officiating. A Masonic Service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Interment will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 5, 2012 at the Union Grove Church of Christ Cemetery with military honors. His family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home prior to the service. The family requests that memorials be made to Hospice of Chattanooga Foundation, P.O.
