James Ernest "Jim" Hinkle, 57, a resident of Midway, Florida and a former resident of Bradley County, passed away on Sunday, March 11, 2012. He was of the Baptist faith. At the time of his death, he was employed as production manager with Notary Public Underwriters where he gave 26 years of service. He was a member and treasurer of the Amateur Radio Club in Tallahassee, Florida for several years. He enjoyed collecting guns and knives and he also enjoyed photography. Mr. Hinkle was the son of the late James Ernest Hinkle and Eva Ballinger Hinkle and was also preceded in death by his special uncle, Junior Hinkle. Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Jacquita Hinkle of Midway, Florida; two daughters: Melissa Hinkle and Kristy Jenkins both of Midway, Florida; four grandchildren: Austin Hinkle, Emily Hinkle, Summer Jenkins and Ronald Jenkins, Jr.; one brother, David Hinkle and wife of Rossville, GA; special sister-in-law, Cecile Wilson; three special aunts: Juanita Hinkle of Cleveland, Bobbie May of Rossville, GA and Sarah Miller of Cleveland; three nieces; great nieces and great nephews and several cousins also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 15, 2012 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Johnny Hood officiating. Interment will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. His family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
