Ruby Burnice Parks

Ruby Burnice Parks, 81, a lifelong resident of Bradley County, passed away Saturday, March 17, 2012 in an Alabama healthcare facility. She was a founding member of Tasso Baptist Church. She was a former employee of American Uniform. She was a local artist and a wonderful seamstress. Mrs. Parks was the daughter of the late Glenn Edward Paul and Willie Coralee Fugate Paul and was also preceded in death by her husband, Frank Winston Parks; two brothers: Kenneth Paul and James Henley Paul and also a sister, Glenna Paul Hunt. Survivors include her son, Eddie Parks and wife, Valerie of Gurley, Al; two grandchildren: Cole Winston Parks and wife, Stacie of Pearl City, HI and Felicia Moinette Parks of Tullahoma, TN; one great-grandchild, Luke Winston Parks of Pearl City, HI; one brother, William Paul and wife, Nancy of Riceville, TN; many nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 21, 2012 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
