Marlette Duckett

Della Marlette Duckett, 52, a lifelong resident of Harrison, TN, passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2012 in a Chattanooga hospital. She was a member of the 1975 Ooltewah State Championship Basketball Team and had attended Chattanooga State. She was previously employed as an administrative assistant with The Honors Course. Marlette had been active as a fund raiser for American Diabetes. She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Randall "Randy" Keith Duckett of Harrison, TN; mother, Betty McDaniel Harris of Harrison, TN; father, Felix E. Housley and step mother, Evelyn Housley of Pikeville, TN; two brothers: Steven Housley and Michael Housley both of Harrison, TN. Memorial services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 31, 2012 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Toby Brogden officiating. Her family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home prior to the service. The family requests that memorials be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O.
