Bobby Joe Shubert, 63, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, April 4, 2012 in a Chattanooga hospital. He was of the Baptist faith. He was an avid deer hunter and was a fisherman who enjoyed catching catfish and bass. Mr. Shubert was the son of the late Robert Lindsey Shubert and Mary Lee Adcox Shubert and was also preceded in death by his siblings: Charles Shubert, Ray and Faye Shubert and Virginia Maxine Shubert. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Ann Shubert of Cleveland; four children: Bobby C. Shubert of Cleveland, Jody Shubert of Kingston, Brian Shubert and Crystal Waldo both of McDonald; ten grandchildren; five sisters: Edna Davis of Kingston, Ellene Lewallen, Mary Jane Hernandez, Barbara Ann Roberts and Connie Dobbs all of Cleveland; two brothers: Ronnie Shubert and Lester Shubert both of Cleveland; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Saturday, April 7, 2012 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Homer Roberts and Sister Barbara Price officiating. His family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home prior to the service.
