Richard W Kinder

Richard W. Kinder, 70, of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday May 1, 2012 in a local hospital. He worked for the U.S. Government Department of Defense for 10 years. He served with U. S. Navy, and was a member of the American Legion Post 81, and a member of the Vietnam Veterans of America. He was of Methodist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Henry Kinder and Mary Ruth Wright Kinder; two sisters, Patsy Ruth Poteet and Jo Ann Southerland; and brother, James D. Kinder. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Kathy Adamson Kinder; children,Stuart Kinder and wife, Sharon of Houston, TX, Stephen Kinder of Cleveland and other son, wife and two grandchildren; grandchildren, Christopher Kinder, Emily Kinder, Marian Kinder, Lucas Kinder, Sam Kinder, Hannah Kinder; sister Nancy Branam of Cleveland, and brothers John Kinder and Ralph "Buster" Kinder of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted at Friday May 4, 2012 at 10:30 A.M. in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Chattanooga National Cemetery with Matt Brown, Christopher Kinder, Gaven Kinder, Blake Kinder, Mikel Kinder and Mark Maddux serving as pallbearers.
