Bill Austin

Sherlin Bill Austin, 74, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, January 8, 2012 at the family residence. He was of the Baptist faith. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving in Korea. Mr. Austin was the son of the late Albert and Nellie Austin and was also preceded in death by a sister, Martha Ann Mullins and a brother, Roy Austin. He is survived by his wife, Mary Austin of Cleveland; three children: Sheila Stewart, Michelle Maney and husband, Troy, Wesley Austin and wife Libby all of Cleveland; two step daughters, Pamela Watson and Nancy Spraker and husband, Steve all of Cleveland; one step son, Tony Watson of Cleveland; 11 grandchildren; 12 step grandchildren; two sisters, Betty Fern Johnson and Carlene Branam both of Cleveland; one brother, Leon Austin of Cleveland; several nieces and nephews also survive. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at the Southview Baptist Church with Pastor Keith Watson and Pastor Ronnie Ledford officiating.
