Willie Marie Blackwell

Willie Marie Goforth Blackwell, 94, made her beautiful journey to heaven on Tuesday, January 17, 2012. She was born on August 3, 1917 in Riceville, TN. she was a resident of Cleveland, TN for 64 years. She was a member of Double Springs Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Elbert Goforth and John Blackwell; father, Horace E. Jolley and mother, Mary Cleveland Erwin Jolley; son, Bobby Goforth; sons-in-law, Tommy Runion and Tommy Griffith; great granddaughter, Rebekah Cooley. She is survived by her children: Frances Griffith, Junior Goforth and wife, Jackie, James Goforth and wife, Karen, Mary Ann Runion, Linda Mangrum, Billy Goforth; daughter-in-law, Faye Goforth; grandchildren: Debbie Hughes, Michelle Evans and husband Tim, Kimesa Rakestraw, Todd Griffith, Tonya Visage and husband, Buster, Marty Runion and wife DeAnna, Kristi Cooley, Robin Gibby and husband Kelly, Paige Goforth, Marka Moore, Kelli Gambill and husband, Eric, Traci Frye, Patty Goforth, David Goforth and wife, Lisa, Jeff Dunn and wife Shelia; she is also survived by special niece, Patsy Boyd and nephew JR Colloms and 21 great-grandchildren that loved her dearly. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 20, 2012 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Lee Ingram and Pastor Mark Camron officiating. Interment will follow in Riceville Cemetery with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service. Serving as pallbearers will be Marty Runion, Kelly Gibby, Andy Cooley, Todd Griffith, David Goforth and Jeff Dunn. Her family will receive friends 6:oo p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
