Dessie Ann Standifer

Dessie Ann Standifer, 55, a resident of Cleveland, passed away in a Chattanooga hospital Sunday, February 12, 2012. She was a member of Valley View Baptist Church. She was a registered nurse at Erlanger for many years. Mrs. Standifer was preceded in death by her father, Richard Henry Crye. She is survived by her husband, James "Jim" Standifer of Cleveland; mother, Minnie Marie Crye of Etowah; daughters, Crystal McCann of Athens, Tanya Long and Brian Ross of Cleveland and Stephanie Speer and husband Don Speer of Cleveland; stepsons, Jason Standifer and wife Michelle of Nashville, and Justin Standifer and wife Souvanna; one sister, Patricia Key and husband, Butch Key of Calhoun; one brother, Jamie Orr and wife, Norma Orr of Madisonville; eleven grandchildren and three nieces also survive. A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 20, 2012 at the Valley View Baptist Church with Pastor David Tuten officiating.
