Alice I Miller

Alice I. Miller, 81, a resident of McDonald, passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2011 in a Chattanooga healthcare facility. She was of the Baptist faith. She was retired from Allied Bendix after 23 years of service. Mrs. Miller was the daughter of the late Arthur and Lucille Rodgers. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Paul L. Miller of McDonald; two children: John Wayne Miller of Cleveland and Paula Sue Bramlett of Panama City Beach, Florida; three grandchildren, Jeremiah Shelton, Jonathan Bramlett and Chris Speights all of Panama City Beach, Florida; five great-grandchildren, Elijah Shelton, Alex Bramlett, Kira Bramlett, Lillian Bramlett and Leigha Bramlett; special caregivers, Karen, Kathy and Tarrell; three sisters, Mildred Brown, Sarah Bullington and Mary Randolph all of Cleveland; special niece, Pam Wilson of Wildwood, GA; other nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 23, 2011 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Sam Hooker officiating. Interment will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service. Mike Woody, Mark Bullington, Todd Randolph, Kevin Randolph, Hunter Randolph and Turner Randolph will serve as pallbearers. Her family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, December 22, 2011 at the funeral home and also from 12-2 p.m. Friday prior to the service.
