Jerry Lynn Melton

Jerry Lynn Melton, 56, a resident of Rock Spring, Georgia and a former long time resident of Cleveland, TN, passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2011. He was employed with the Tennessee Department of Transportation and was the former owner of Outdoor Adventures in Cleveland, TN. He is survived by his wife, Irene Melton of Rock Spring, GA; mother, Beatrice Irene Melton of Cleveland, TN; step sons, Rusty Hindman and wife, Gina of Kennesaw, GA and Justin Hindman of Dalton, GA; one grandson, Benjamin Hindman of Kennesaw, GA; one sister, Charlotte Smith of Riceville, TN; sister-in-law, Juanita Beavers of Dalton, GA. A gathering of friends and a memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 1, 2012 at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home.
