Margaret Fuller Fabiani, 83, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2011 in a Chattanooga hospital. She was a member of First Lutheran Church. She was a member of the Ocoee Garden Club and was a former president. Her hobbies included genealogy, traveling, computers and she was an avid reader. She was the great-niece of Captain William Allen Fuller, conductor of the locomotive General and noted for his role in the 1862 Great Locomotive Chase during the American Civil War. Mrs. Fabiani was the daughter of the late Edgar Romney Fuller and Clara Jolley Fuller and was also preceded in death by two sisters, Martha Jane Fuller Schoenster and Elizabeth “Betty” Fuller Breon; one brother, James Harrison Fuller. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, William Joseph Fabiani, Sr. of Cleveland; two twin children: Gina Fabiani Knox of Birmingham, AL and William J. Fabiani, Jr. of Cleveland; two grandchildren, Jason Steven Mabe and Michael Douglas Mabe; five great grandchildren, Cecily Raven Sims, Kaeli Blair Mabe, Evan Skye Mabe, Avery Kendel Mabe and Caden Blaise Mabe; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 9, 2011 at the First Lutheran Church with Pastor Robert Seaton officiating. Interment will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service. Thomas Knox, James Crook, Michael Mabe, Jason Mabe, Andrew Breon, Richard Breon and William J. Fabiani, Jr. serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home. The family requests memorials be made to your favorite charity.
