Delores Ann Damron

Delores Ann Damron, 78, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Friday, November 4, 2011 in a local hospital. She was a member of Westwood Baptist Church. She worked in various churches as a child care worker. Mrs. Damron was the daughter of the late Henry Taylor and Minnie Marie Cecil Taylor and was also preceded in death by her husband, Alex Damron, Jr. She is survived by her five children and spouses: Debra and the late Michael Ploucha of Allen Park, Michigan, Bill and Susan Damron of Acworth, Georgia, Barbara and Michael Partlow, Matthew and Terry Damron and Patsy and Greg Hicks all of Cleveland, TN; twelve grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; three sisters, Frances McFarland and Henrietta Guest both of Lincoln Park, Michigan and Elizabeth Johnson of Warren, Michigan; one brother, William Taylor of Ft. Myers, Florida; many nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 8, 2011 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Jim Caywood officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with Tim Bayne, Brett Gallaher, Devon Lofton, Alex Damron, Nicholas Ploucha and Christopher Ploucha serving as pallbearers. Will Hicks will serve as honorary pallbearer. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, November 7, 2011 at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home.
