Betty J Moats

Betty J. Moats, 68, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Friday, November 11, 2011. She was a member of Blythe Avenue Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Moats, Sr.; parents, Albert and Catherine Roderick; grandson, Cody Moats; and brother, James Roderick. She is survived by her sister, Margie Yarber of Cleveland; children, Allen E, Moats, Jr. and fiancé, Diane of Cleveland, John W. Moats of Cleveland, Betty A. Darbe and husband, Dan of Senoia, GA, Freemon H. Moats and wife, Patricia of Big Spring, TX, DeWayne E. Moats and wife, Tammy of Tacoma, WA and Jayson E. Moats and wife, Phyllis of Stuart, FL; 19 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and special friends. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 15, 2011 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Jake E. Carroll officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with sons and sons-in-law serving as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.
